A couple of friends asked me today, what are my sentiments now about my religion at this age where greed and chaos have taken place. My answer is simple: I love my religion and would die for the sake of Islam and family.
My answer shocked them. They felt that it was a duty too much for a young person to carry. It was too big a responsibility for one to uphold. i kept silent. Nothing is too big nowadays as everything else is achievable. Maybe they might not understand. Maybe they might not be able to relate to this ideology. That's simply because they are either Muslim by name per se or they are non-Muslims. and yeah...I was too lazy to indulge in such futile discourse. We are not on the same frequency.
so why bother in the first place.
and there is a saying, what u don't know wont hurt you.
